The WR870 EGO Battery is the next generation in sustainable outdoor surface cleaning. Built with the same trusted German engineering as the petrol-powered models and powered by the professional-grade EGO battery system, this machine delivers up to 2 hours of zero-emission, low-noise performance per charge. Providing an alternative to pressure washing, this machine is ideal for those working in noise-sensitive or eco-conscious environments.

Hard Surface Moss Removal

This powered wire brush will remove thick moss and light weeds from any hard surface. The clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation of the brush allows you to get into the cracks and crevices where the moss resides, without the use of harsh chemicals or water.

Powered by EGO Battery System – What’s the Run Time per charge?

Fitted with a professional-grade EGO battery motor, the EGO 56V batteries deliver an incredible 2 hours Run Time using the largest 12Ah batteries. And using other battery sizes the Run Time can be calculated at 10 minutes per Ah, allowing you to match battery size to your workload (*and see full table below).

The machine is available in two options:

• Machine Only – Supplied as Body Only, without batteries or charger
• Bundle – Supplied with 2 EGO batteries and 1 rapid charger

Can I use my existing EGO Batteries?

All EGO 56V batteries are compatible with this machine (even the small ones 2.5Ah, 4Ah, 5Ah, 6Ah), making this an ideal solution for professionals already using EGO equipment or looking to build an eco-friendly tool kit.
So if you already have some 5Ah EGO batteries they will work in this WR870 Moss Brush, and you will get approximately 50 minutes of work time from a full charge, and so on.

German Engineering

Manufactured in Germany, the belt driven machine is designed with a jockey wheel situated underneath the brush that allows you to adjust the height of the bristles, enabling a powerful or light brushing action. Thanks to the angled design the brush will not cause damage on block paving, tarmac and concrete. For more delicate surfaces such as resin or paving slabs we always recommend to carry out a test patch first.

*Run Times / Work Times per full charge are approximates, and will vary if the weather is cold or hot, and if the work the machine is doing is powerful or light. The height you have the brush determines the amount of friction on the ground – more friction will burn through more battery charge. These estimates have been tested on all the recommended surfaces, and in different weather conditions too.
