MK II 686cc SOHC engine

The hard working Kodiak 700 features a powerful large capacity engine that delivers class-leading torque and power. Featuring the 2nd generation MK II 686 engine SOHC 4-valve cylinder head, with new EFI Throttle body, fine-tuned ECU mapping, refined tolerances and other updates results in lower fuel consumption increased torque and a smoother engine performance.

The smooth-running Ultramatic® CVT transmission and 2WD/4WD system (EPS with Diff Lock) make this ATV ideal for towing, and with Electric Power Steering on the EPS model – and more features on the SE model – the Kodiak 700 makes every working day that little bit easier.

Ultramatic® transmission Equipped with High, Low, Reverse, Neutral and Park modes, Yamaha’s industry-leading Ultramatic® automatic transmission is one of the ATV world’s most durable and efficient CVT systems. The utility oriented gearing produces excellent low speed pulling power and natural all-wheel engine braking feel, giving added confidence and control on downhills.
	Independent suspension, front disc brakes The Kodiak 700’s compact independent double wishbone A-arms and long-travel KYB shocks give high levels of comfort together with good manoeuvrability, and can handle the most extreme terrain. For durable and reliable braking the Kodiak 700 is fitted with front disc brakes and a sealed wet rear brake.
On-Command 2WD/4WD The Kodiak 700 EPS & EPS SE models are fitted with an easy to operate On-Command® system with 2WD/4WD and 4WD with Diff Lock for full control. The Kodiak 700 has a handlebar mounted mechanical lever for quick and effective switching between 2WD and 4WD, allowing you to choose the right option to suit the terrain and surface conditions.
	Carrying capacity and winch Durable front and rear racks give a high load carrying capacity of 140kg, and the Kodiak 700 can tow 600kg, making it a strong work companion in the farm, factory or forest. The front-mounted WARN ProVantage 2500 winch is standard for Europe, while EPS models come with a 2-inch receiver hitch, making this the ultimate compact utility vehicle.
Electric Power Steering (EPS) For added comfort and reduced physical effort the Kodiak 700 EPS model is equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS) that has been designed to offer the best balance of rider assist and positive feedback. By maintaining light steering and precise handling, this system enhances rider comfort, confidence and control.
	Comprehensive instrumentation The Kodiak 700 EPS features a digital meter with a fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, hour meter, clock, 4WD status, gear selector and EPS warning light
SE Special Edition models The Special Edition models are aimed at professional and leisure riders who demand the ultimate specification. The first SE option features a Painted Low Gloss Black body with exclusive graphics and satin black cast aluminium wheels – and there’s also an aggressively styled Matt Blue version with matching satin black wheels.

From 2008 all new Yamaha utility ATV’s over 300cc, Viking and Wolverine models imported by Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., branch UK, carry a 2 year manufacturers warranty. All utility ATV’s, Vikings and Wolverines purchased for use in the UK and registered on the Yamaha warranty system will be eligible for an additional period giving a total of 2 years warranty cover. Offer open for a limited period, consult your dealer for details. All cover is subject to regular servicing, as specified in the relevant Yamaha owners manual.
