STIHL FS 38 Grass Trimmer
Lightest petrol grass trimmer in the STIHL range. Along walls, under trees or even your lawn borders, it is ideal for trimming grass edges and putting the finishing touches to your garden.
Supplied with AutoCut C 6-2 head and can also fit a PolyCut head for thinning work and larger weeds.
Don’t forget to check your work area for wildlife before starting to use your tool. In particular, you should check for nesting birds before trimming hedges, as well as checking for other small animals such as hedgehogs before trimming long grass.
STIHL professional tip – to get the most from your mowing line, we recommend popping it in a bucket of water for 12-24 hours before using it to make it more flexible and less likely to break.
Standard features
Electronic ignition module
This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus proof against damp and dirt.
Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.
Multi-function control handle
Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator’s hand never leaves the handle.
Round handle
The round handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.
