Rectangle Adapter 127x77mm (5x3inch) for Easy Petrol Post Drivers
PETROL POST DRIVER
To drive in 5×3″ posts a pilot hole must be made in the ground first. A 2″ pilot hole is the recommended size. If the ground is very hard or dry, fill the pilot hole with water and leave to soak before driving the posts into the ground.
SIZE
Internal diameter of 127x77mm. This adapter is suitable for driving 5×3″ rectangle posts.
EASY FITTING
Using a 6mm hex key to unscrew the 8 bolts & locking washers. Slide the current tube off the base of the Post Driver. Slide the new Adapter into its place and attach using the same bolts and washers. Remember to use a Locking Compound on the screw threads to stop them vibrating out.
WHAT ADAPTERS DO I NEED?
To get the most effective use from the Post Driver, the Adapter size must be a snug fit for your Posts. We recommend the Adapter must be no more than 5-10mm larger than your Post. For shaped posts; squares / t-shapes etc. the outer corners need to be within this capacity.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF THE MACHINE?
Warranty
The maximum capacity of the machine is 107mm round diameter.
Our largest adapter is 107mm internal diameter.
When the ground is very dry, compacted or stony, you will need to make a pilot hole for posts larger than 78mm. This can be either by hand using a Pilot-Bar, or mechanically using either our Pilot Core Tool or an earth Auger. Posts smaller than 78mm should not need a pilot hole unless the ground is very hard.
The Easy Petrol Post Driver has a warranty limited to defects in workmanship or parts, from the date of supply (to the end user) when used in accordance with reasonable use and care. Please keep your proof of purchase to assist with any warranty claims.
The warranty period is:
- 3 (three) years on the Machine Body
- 1 (one) year on the Honda GX35T engine
Defects that occur within the stated warranty period other than those components excluded shall be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Easy Petrol Post Driver (the distributor) and Christie Engineering (the manufacturer). Any parts or goods repaired under this warranty is only warranted for the remainder of the warranty period commencing the original date of purchase. Warranties are non-transferable.
